So what are Elite
City Models Teen Division all About?
The Teen Division was started
in response to several factors concerned with our agency Elite City
Models. ECM is a glamour based agency that represents models aged
18 plus and is concerned mainly with promotion, photographic and
advertising. Sometimes clients make requests for younger models
(non glamour obviously) and it would be a shame not to be able to
fulfill these requests. Secondly so many girls ask to join ECM wanting
to be models, but are simply too young. So we have always told them
to return when 18, however we discovered they were then in the catch
22 situation of having no experience and not getting booked to gain
any.
So the Teen division was started
first and foremost as a way of younger models learning and gaining
experience in preparation for an adult career as a model.
On being accepted and joining
the Teen Division our adolescent and young teens are first invited
along to a professional photographic studio to give them the experience
of being in a photo studio with a professional photographer. This
is an opportunity for us to assess the levels of work they will
be suitable for and for them and you as their parent/guardian to
see if there is any point in going forward. Many cute children simply
do not respond to a studio and many young teen girls think modeling
is easy, only to find it requires a great deal of effort and change
their mind.
Your teens details will then
be added to the Teens Division client database with their own page
detailing all their attributes, with personal details being kept
private and unavailable to clients.
We are really only interested in young teens based
in South West England and South Wales as we are predominantly based
near Bath. Obviously if you are further a field then you may still
apply, but traveling costs and time will be your responsibility.
At 18 each Teen Division member naturally progresses
into the adult agency having gained the experience necessary to
stand a decent chance of success.
We are a Department of Trade & Industry (DTI) regulated Agency.
